青梅市の自然に魅せられて、何の伝手もない土地にスカイダイビング並みの気合いで移住してきた私です。
移住前から持ち続けていた新天地での夢や希望をギューッと詰め込んで、「青梅市わがままライフコンテスト」というコンテストに応募してみました。提出期限ギリギリなのは学生時代から変わらず😅
応募内容は「青梅市の空き家もしくは遊休地を利用したアイデア」
空き家や遊休地を使えるなら、やってみたいことが湯水のように湧いてきます。夢を見るだけならタダですからね！
審査中なので、作品の詳細はまた後日に。
入賞するしないに関わらず、自分の中の「青梅愛💖」を形にできただけで、もう大満足！
これから出会う人たちに「私はこんな夢を持っている者です」と名刺代わりに見てもらえるのも嬉しいです😊

残念ながら何の賞にも引っ掛かりませんでしたが、この時にアイデアをまとめたおかげで、青梅市の移住サポートやハーブ園など、夢に向かって進んでいる気がします。
青梅は空気も水もきれいで、ゆったり過ごせる良いところなので、ぜひいらして下さいね😊

I was so captivated by the nature in Ome City that I moved here with the same determination as skydiving, despite having no connections to the area.
I packed all the dreams and hopes I had for this new place, which I had been holding onto since before moving, and entered the “Ome City Whimsical Life Contest.” I submitted my entry just before the deadline, just like during my school days 😅
The contest theme was “Ideas for utilizing vacant houses or idle land in Ome City.” If I can use vacant houses or idle land, ideas for what I want to do come to mind like a fountain. After all, dreaming is free!
Since the entries are still under review, I’ll share the details of my project another time. Regardless of whether I win or not, I’m already very satisfied just being able to put my love for Ome City 💖 into a tangible form! I’m also happy that I can show this to people I meet in the future as a sort of business card, saying, “This is the dream I have.”

Unfortunately, I didn’t win any awards, but thanks to summarizing my ideas at that time, I feel like I’m making progress towards my dreams, such as the relocation support and herb garden in Ome City.
Ome is a great place with clean air and water and a relaxed atmosphere, so please do visit 😊
